Song

Songs  make my heart sing.

They bring me immense joy.

They transform our emotional experience within beats.

Their stories touch us deeply.

In the last few years, I've been fortunate to start channeling songs in the folk style - the melody and lyrics come through me often at surprising times, but always with love, joy and gratitude.

One of my very first songs, "Choice of Any”, was inspired by my Dad and his passion for our democracy. It came to me right before the U.S. Presidential Election in 2020. Like in the story of the song, my Dad has since passed away. But his message lives on: Each of us is powerful. Each of our votes and voices count in this incredible democracy we live in. We all matter. We all make a difference. Please vote. You matter.

The last few years of my musical journey have been filled with attempts at learning instruments to accompany myself with - the guitar, the piano, the folk harp. I say “attempts” because, for some reason, I always get stuck on this part, and it's prevented me from sharing the songs that have come through. So…since I want to be brave in my life and creativity, and I want these songs to have a life of their own and to connect with all of you, I have decided to share them as simple recordings with my voice only.

My intention is that you will receive the energy of the song's story with authenticity and love. May these words and sounds touch your heart and soul - and know I'm with you on this journey.

Thanks for the love and support.
